Move of the Month: 4/16

Congratulations to Martyn Dicker who has recently been appointed HR Director for The Prince’s Trust, which helps disadvantaged young people turn their lives around.

Martyn has joined the Trust from the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) where he held the post of HR Director. Prior to CIFF he was Director of HR and Organisational Development at Fairtrade Foundation. 

He’s also a member of the Engage for Success task force and the Chair of their not-for-profit thought and action group.

Martyn said: “I am delighted to join The Prince’s Trust as HR Director. It’s an important and relevant cause and one I’m keen to work on.”

We bet he’s also chuffed to be rubbing shoulders with the celebs who regularly queue up to support this well-regarded charity. Top stars associated with the Trust include Kevin Spacey, Benedict Cumberbatch, Beyonce, Ant and Dec, Elton John, Phil Collins, Paul McCartney and Rod Stewart.

Lesser stars associated with the Trust include Howard Jones, Go West and the one out of Erasure who isn’t Vince Clarke.

This year, The Prince’s Trust is celebrating its 40^th anniversary and has helped 825,000 young people to date.
